Commercial vehicle frame repair system
HERKULES RAM-TRUCK™
A system for conducting accident and operational repairs of damaged commercial vehicle frames. A set of equipment, for which the base is a grate permanently embedded in the floor of the workshop, allows you to perform straightening efficiently, ergonomically and safely. The basic set includes horizontal presses, counterstays, vertical presses, a “C” press, and anchoring equipment and support hardware. Each set is equipped with chains and pull hooks.
At the heart of the system is the MAX hybrid™ horizontal press with hydraulic drive can be used both for straightening the frame structure and as a stop element. This solution allows to increase the force of action during repairs. Note that in the case of opposite directions of action, the straightening forces add up. Depending on the configuration of the press and the accessories used, it is also possible to carry out work in tension mode.
The working equipment is driven by pneumatic-hydraulic pumps. The repair system can be additionally equipped with a hydraulic riveting machine with a force of 400 kN, a spreader set with a force of 200 kN or a system for the assembly and repair of SUVs, vans, off-road vehicles and passenger cars. Additional support for the system can be provided by measuring devices for checking the shape of frames and cabs, as well as for setting wheel and axle alignment.
HERKULES RAM-TRUCK™ is a system that works with a grate embedded in the floor of the workshop hall. The optimal external dimensions of the stand are 20 m x 6.5 m. The external dimensions of the grate are 16 m x 4.5 m. The grate is made on the basis of an individual design prepared for the investor. The fastening system uses slots in the grate. This allows for quick and efficient attachment of the system’s basic equipment, such as presses, dams, pulling towers, cabs repair system and frame fixing roller brackets.
The new TOWER hybrid™ vertical press features a very wide working range, and can also be used for trailer repairs when equipped with an extension adapter.
The repair station equipment offered as part of the HERKULES TRUCK hybrid™ system makes it possible to repair all kinds of damage caused by accidents, collisions and wear and tear. Proper selection of equipment and training of personnel guarantee full and effective use of the capabilities of the HERKULES TRUCK hybrid™ system.
